Corvallis, Oregon. 80 miles south of Portland, Oregon. They did this at least 5 years ago. No negative impact on businesses. ALSO banned smoking in BARS and TAVERNS. That was a big issue. But again, No negative impact on businesses.

you have a factor. you will think of that that's much less annoying to stay away from 2d-hand smoke outdoors. yet -- in my opinion -- that's extra in all probability for persons to inhale somebody's smoke if the guy if smoking in a crowded section. i'm no longer announcing human beings who smoke could circulate to distant factors in basic terms so as that they are in a position to smoke in public, just to smoke in places the place there are not a lot of human beings. (it is so weird and wonderful; very almost all of us used to smoke various many years in the past. have you ever heard approximately those people who p.c. to offer a movie that exhibits human beings smoking an R score?)
