Love is putting the other person ahead of what you want or need. The feeling that you don't ever want to be without them. Love grows with each passing day, year. I have been HAPPILY married to a wonderful man for 28 years and can't wait for the next 28. We have grown together not only as individuals but also as a couple. God has blessed us with the gift of each other.

boy is that a big one.of all my many travels,i would just like to say love is made of many things.yet it can happen in a split second, its something you cant take away from.you gotta put into it everyday.but it starts with a smile being nice to each other and seeing each other more and more.there can be mis understandings at first but if you get over them it can lead to a better understanding toward each other.finding common ground, making each other happy at the same time putting up with each others %$$#*.and looking forward to the next day of being together.thats about it.

love is understanding, respect, cooperation, support, enjoyment, acceptance, willingness to try the others idea, open mind, growth. And it's a feeling deep down inside that you can't shake or explain it just is. Want to know if you love some one? ask yourself if you would take a bullet for this person. Would you be willing to risk your life for theirs? And try to imagine life without this person in your life and how large the void would be? So many realize only too late how much they loved someone.

To me love is being with someone that make you feel complete. The person that you love should be your bestfreind first and then move on to the next step. I have a bestfreind and we have been bestfreinds for 10 years. I miss him everyday that we are apart. I have been remairried to my present husband for 5 years. Me and my bestfriend dated for awhile and it was great. Things did not happen for us at that time and i moved on. I remarried and i miss my bestfreind. I love him with all that i have. I can tell him anything and we talk about everything. When you love someone for me when that person touches my face and i melt. That is love.

Love is...caring more about them than about yourself
Love is...wanting to be with them 24/7.
Love is...doing whatever you can to see them happy.
Love is...thinking about them all the time.
Love is...being terribly lonely when you are not together
Love is...wishing you were together all the time.
Love is...being ecstatically happy when you are together.
Love is...wanting to spend the rest of your life with this one person.
Love is...wanting to make them happy for the rest of both of your lives.
Love is...being so happy inside when you are able to make and see them happy.
Love is...knowing that just the thought of them brings a smile to your face and heart.
Love is...counting the minutes until you can be with them again.

I love that answer about seeing someone as precious as God sees them. That is beautiful. I believe it is when you unconditionally care for them and do the best to make sure you never hurt them, but when you do, you promptly make things right again.

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
