Historically, the civic has always been FWD. check out the different generations here at wikipedia:

if you're looking for a RWD, check out the toyota MR2 or honda's S2000.

The civics have never comein rear wheel drive not ever and probably always will be fwd.

It is front wheel drive. Most Hondas are front wheel driven less the S2000 is rear wheel driven.

no they are not the only honda that is rwd is the s2000 but i saw an s2000 engine in a eg at a car show
