Are Yankees fans the whiniest, thinnest skinned, crybabies in baseball?

Be careful saying so, or they'll report you for being a rilly-rilly big meanie!!!!

EricG: And YOU'RE illiterate. Obviously a Yankee fan.

BillSabre: Ah, your answer definitely displays the depth of intellect of a typical Yankee fan.

My, they're out in force...

Actually Yankee fans are pretty knowledgeable fans - though they do whine and expect too much from their team.

They're just spoiled because they won 4 of 5 World Series titles between 1996 and 2000, so a lot of their fans (their owner included) expect that outcome every year. It's just not possible...even the worst team in baseball could beat the best team in baseball in a 5 or 7 game series.

After the Yankees bought swept via the Red Sox, I did not feel they deserved the proper to enter an over-hyped sequence with the Mets and overwhelm them. But, 2 wins is 2 wins, so we're going to take them. Besides, the sequence wasn't relatively the identical besides, with Beltran, Reyes, and Delgado out of the lineup for the Mets. Regardless, they could had been top scoring video games with the pleasant lineup in baseball (Yankees) towards an k Mets lineup.

No, they will just remind you of how the Yankees were the team of the century, the 20th Century that is. It's a new day, and they can bask in their old glory, but only Jeter, Posada, Rivera and Williams were on any of those teams. A new day has dawned and the A's and Tigers series is going to be great.

Well, I don't think I whine but I do drink wine with cheese.
Does that count?
My skin is sensitive but I don't think it's thin.
And, I guess I'm a crybaby.
I cry at sad movies
or when I watch sad stuff on TV.

And by the way, I'm reporting you for being a rilly, rilly big meanie ! ! !

It's not just Yankee fans. It's all over the country. However New York fans are passionate about their teams, much like the beloved Red Sox fans. So they like the Red Sox and Cubbies fans, who are really passionate about their teams tend to take it a little harder than let's say Royal fans.

Fans of any team can be like that. I am a Yankees fan and know that they can't win every game and every series. Its disapointing when they lose but isn't every other fan of other teams that way as well when their team loses?
