i have a threshold that is at a customers house, that another indivisual installed with the new door. the threshold has a lot of give to it when you step on it. he tried some shims when he installed it. has anybody drilled in to the metal and pumped/injected concrete through a small 3/8 - 1/2 inch hole. what kind of an inexspensive injector did you use. any help would be appreaciated.

i know that it would be alot of work but if it was me i would pull the frame back out and open the floor area and reinforce the floor joyst then reinstall the framework this would be the only way that you could do the job right.

smacks got it - drys hard - no more deflection
attached threshold are a pain in the butt, cuz the cornice man will never set then in caulk & there is always a gap! they are more concerned with door operation!

why not just use a caulk gun and pump it full of liquid nails?
