I know of a gay/lesbian who lived together. The lesbian gave birth to their child. The gay later assumed the role of a mother.

It all depends on the people. In some yes, in some no. Each and every person couple is diffrent just like in stright couples sometimes the female will be more dom then the husband. there are some couples that share everything 50/50 and others that do not.

Sometimes there is a more dominant person in the relationship and other times both want to be dominant. Some couples have one person in the dominant male role (butch) and one person in the submissive role (femme). Some couples have both partners butch or femme. All in all it depends on what the couple wants.

Maybe not all of them, but definitely in some. I know a lesbian couple and you can see that one is masculine, the other feminine. They actually refer to them as the 'fem' and 'stud'. Look at Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi. Obvious.
I don't know any gay couples, but I hear some say 'catcher' (fem) and 'pitcher' (stud), or 'top' (stud) 'bottom' (fem).
