I bought Cover Girl Shimmering Sands Eyeshadow 3... and I want to use all the 3 colors, but im trying to find a way to make it pretty...I use Maybelline Pure Makeup...a little bronzer, pretty natural lipcolor..., and i usually use brown eyeliner, and black/brown mascara....i just cant do my eyeshadow good...what can i use and do to make it good...

well i have tried the lighter color all over the eyelid then the next shade up on just the middle to outer corner... then the darkest i use as a liner... use your finger tip to blend it in a little...

Practice with brushes, NOT the little applicators you get with eyeshadows. They make shadows look way too harsh. Buy a set of the different size brushes and experiment.

Tip - brush one color right under your eyebrow (for example - a color with shimmer/glow to it). next, brush another (darker or lighter color right on your eyelid. last, brush your last color on the crease of your eyelid.

Just practice and take your time.

Lightly brush the lightest colour over the whole lid up to your eyebrow then apply the darkest colour in the creese of your lid mainly on the outer edge of your eye then lightly apply the left over colour just above the darkest colour thinly and not up to your eyebrow either just so it looks like it slowly tones the colour up to your brow. hope that helps you.

use the darkest one as a liner that shows well and keep adding up to the point when the lightest color is almost or touching the eyebrow

put a light color on your lids and then a darker color in the crease. then put the lightest color on the top part. your eyes will "pop" trust me i use this method and i love it =] good luck.

i think my makeup is pretty and i always use a brush instead of those pad things.
