Yes, ma'am.. we would. Sorry to say it, but we will always have a conflict between the US and the Mid.East. It;s just the way it will always and forever be. They hate us and our God, and we won't put up with thier suicide bombing and evil rampaging. We are alies with Israel, and Israel will always, to the very end, be persecuted because they are God's "chosen" people, and every nation that surrounds that small little territory know as Israel, will do thier best to kill and persecute them because of thier faith and ethnicity. The same with the US. The middle east will always be at our throats, because we are a sovergn nation, and we have a strong leader that won't stand for thier cruelty and mistreatment towards our great nation.. Plain and simple.
oh, yeah, we have PLENTY of oil in Alaska. It's just that the invironmentalists won;t let us drill up there to retrive that oil that we need so desperately.
It sucks, I know. the best we can do as a nation, is to stick together and support our military and government leaders. That;s the best bet, even though some of us don't agree with anything the presidents have said..and we "hate" them.. .
OUR country is so great, so beautiful, lucky and strong. We give. We are the most generous.
Hope my answer helped you. Take care and God bless.

you're taking what he says as an admission that the wars interior the middle east are "all approximately" oil. Does oil play into the middle east being a power participant interior the international? If all they produced replace into dates and rugs, might they be aspiring nuclear powers? Is oil significant? nicely, evaluate the turning out to be value and how that's affecting the cost of each and every thing it extremely is hurting the financial gadget and making the Fed decrease the pastime value back it extremely is making the dollar susceptible and the cost of gas greater to us right here, it extremely is in turn making issues much greater high priced. that's a squeeze on the customers right here, yet seem at it this sort too. we are the optimum source of nutrition help to the international. we are having to shrink the output of nutrition help to the the remainder of the international simply by fact oil fees are so darn extreme. There are international locations interior the international the place they're having riots simply by fact they don't have adequate nutrition. Our dollar would not bypass so a procedures because it did. To sum up: The extreme value of gas it extremely is the lifeblood of our financial gadget is slowing our financial gadget down. Our financial gadget is the engine of the international. issues get sluggish for us, they get sluggish for each individual. think of roughly how our hobbies help to shape our positions and strikes with the the remainder of the international. Any elected expert in united statesa. who fails to nicely known this fails to evaluate the main easy hobbies of our inhabitants on the prospect of asserting something that's no longer politically expedient or politically marvelous is derelict in his/her maximum uncomplicated duty.

i see all the religeous answers and "terrorist" reasons here and it really misses the point of why we are in the middle east. It does have somthing to do with energy but the main all-encompassing reson is it is a very strategic region both militarily and economically in the world. It is a well-known fact that many experts have hypothesized since during the cold war that the united states MUST have control of the middle east to retain its superpower status in the furture ... the reasons include economics, energy, and military ...THE bottom line in my opinion is that this IS about war with China period. People that think we are fighting in the middle east because of terrorism and muslims are small-minded, uninformed, and uneducated to the geo-political situation.

Yes. We were there as peacekeepers in 1983, at the request of the Lebanese government. Their people thanked us by blowing up our Marine barracks, killing over 200 of our Marines; also kidnapped several teachers and AP reporters, held them hostage for 6 years.
None of that had to do with oil. It was just their hatred.

do you own a car, does anyone in your family own one- then you also are contributing to the depedency. Why don't we focus more on drilling for our own oil. The conflict in the middles east has been brewing since before WWI it is inevitable.

Yes, if the war was only about oil, it would have been easier to invade Mexico and take their oil.

As long as we arm Israel , prop up thier state, and condone their murdering of Arabs, we'll have trouble in the middle east.

Yes. Radical Muslims hate the US because of it's freedoms, not because we buy oil from them.
