Most women who stay with men who treat them like crap has low self esteem and self worth. Some where along the line they have allowed these low lives to convience them that they are worthless and that they are nothing and that no one will want them and they come to believe this over a period of time , and they take what they think they can get and that is not true. Fear of being alone make some of them accept it and others feel they don't deserve any better.

I know what you are talking about. I have a few friends that are in dead end relationships with their nasty husbands/boyfriends. It's sad that some women can't stand up for themselves. These women must have the lowest self-esteem in the world in order not to be able to change their way of life.
