it was information on how matt damon is the rat,
and to give this info to mark walhberg if something should happen to him. leo's character knew, that the odds of him surviving are thin, and he needed some kind of insurance, and he knew that she was the only one he could trust, because she didnt trust matt damon enough to be loyal to him, thats why she cheated on him. and the baby? i think they meant it to be leo's baby.

I disagree the baby... was Matt Damons.. but she was so angry with him at that point that she didnt want anything to do with him. Yes the envelope was insurance in case he past away that the truth would still come out. But we never got to that point because they wanted the ending to be unpredictable. Everyone was assuming that the ending would be her opening up the envelope and turning it into the Feds.. but the twist was that Mark Wahlberg shot and killed Matt Damon before that was abled to happen. Any more questions.. let me know ;-)
