why not just get boots with wedge heels if you don't feel sturdy.
You can still get pointy ones if that is what you wanted..

As I have gotten older, I've decided comfort is the name of the game!! Also since I broke my leg a year and a half ago and had to have surgery on it and still have some swelling in my lower leg and ankle. With that said, I personally would not go for the pointy high heeled boots. They really are not good for your feet and can you imagine trying to walk down an icy sidewalk in heels??? I prefer clogs and love the Birkenstock....call me frumpy, but my feet are nice and comfortable and being well cared for. If your feet aren't feeling good, the rest of you does not feel good!

Carefully and practice...but "what price beauty?" I worked in orthopedics for years and now I do nails....really think about the damage you can do to your feet, back and legs.....if you are young you will recover but......why?
Fashion is really about selling you something someone (who is in the business of making up new t hings to sell) convince's you t5hat you have to have. Next month they will be selling you low heels and round toes.
Be an independent spirit, if it works for you fine, if it doesn't....wait for the next-in-thing. And don't waste your money on things that are not fun....unless you have it to burn.
If you are going to practice, practice stairs and carpet, be careful, a slip on a slick floor can damage more than the part you fall on.

The key to walk in heels are balance, so practice walking in your house first before going out in public and with practice your balance will improve.

you have to step on the ball of your foot, don't put weight on your heel until you are balanced, otherwise you will run the risk of falling, same as if you are walking on roller skates
