What is the adverage salary for a lighting designer with a college degree? If there are any lighting designers that see this please put your salary if you don't mind!

No way am I putting my salary up in here, lol.

You'll do just fine -- the work is out there.

If you want to go for bucks, go into the corporate world or join IATSE. Get into the movies.

There are a lot of factors that are considered in wages. What market you are in, portfolio, resume, and contacts all factor in to what you will make. Best of luck.

collage degree in something relevant? or in English?

depends what kind of work you want to do - theatre (drama, musicals, rep...), film, architecture, TV, corporate events....

and then its about how well known your work is, and how good its reputation is.
