Both are cheaters. Both do not belong in the Hall Of Fame. But Bonds is the bigger idiot because it's all about his own stats. At lease Rose, as a player, wanted to win championships and did! Bonds could care less as long as he break individual records. Plus Bonds has no problem letting other people do his jail time for him. (via, Greg Anderson).

Without a doubt, Barry Bonds.

Pete Rose would do anything to win a game for his TEAM. Barry Bonds would do anything to pad his stats and inflate his ego.

That's not to say that Pete Rose didn't care about his personal numbers, but losing was unacceptable to Pete Rose.

I guess it depends on your point of view. Which is more serious, betting on baseball, or using steroids to enhance your performance? Both are illegal. Pete Roses' stats will not change as a result of his crime. However, can we really look at Barry Bonds' record and believe he could've achieved it on his own?

Well considering the TWENTY-FOUR years that Rose played... and the fact that EVERY Spring Training begins with a lecture on NOT BETTING ON BASEBALL...

The rule is also posted in the clubhouse at every ballpark in the majors. Rose only played like FOURTEEN THOUSAND games... so, if he never quite picked up on that information... I would have to say that makes him an IDIOT.

Bonds (allegedly) took substances that were NOT against the rules of the game when he took them. As far as I know that means he bent the rules... but never broke them. It actually takes a SMARTER person to find loopholes. (NOT a better person... just a smarter one.)
