how do i ensure that an autograph in sharpie will last through a washer and dryer ? i got my favorite band to autograph my shirt and i want to wear it but i dont want it to go away i can survive if it fade ALITTLE but if theres anything i could put on it that would make fade less then please tell me .... even if its just wash it in cold water or wash it in warm water or air dry or put it in the dryer first then wash

Cold water only with a tiny bit of Dreft or Woolite, then air dry. We tend to overwash all our laundry without checking tags. But for your item, I would cold wash it only with a very mild detergent, then air drying is always safest.

Don't wash it. The worst that could happen is that you will smell and maybe, possibly, perhaps lose a wee bit of friends. But the ones who REALLY DO CARE will stay with you and your stank. GOOD LUCK!

You could retrace it with sharpie after the wash?

Wash it in cold water and no bleach!! use softner too!! do not use air drier.

i think it will fade in time no matter what but hairspray should prolong it
