take it from me..
AFI has wild concerts..
if you are worried about your parents, just tell them you will stay far FAR away from mosh pits and the middle area (that's where it gets the most wild)
it could be lots of fun.....for you and your parents..
AFI is very entertaining and veeeery good live..
i'd stay out of the middle though because Davey does surf the crowd sometimes...
I TOUCHED DAVEY!!!!
YEAH

Whats and AFI concert?
Anyways.. to get your parents to go to any concert for your birthday... Bring up the subject at a time were they will pay attention to you.. like at dinner or b4 your going to bed. Tell them that for your 14th birthday you would like to go to a concert.. Then they should ask what kind.. and you Say.. "and AFI concert.. it sounds really fun.. and i think we ALL would have fun. Please? I promise we will be good... plus i will have fun"
and you can also add the suggestion that you do that and get like 1 present if not any.
Good luck!! And Have fun, i hope you get to go... whatever it is..

I dont see them having any situation with it until it became in yet another city or state or something. My mothers and dads permit me bypass to a little question/rubbish stay overall performance whilst i became 14. i did no longer rather like the bands that plenty, besides the undeniable fact that it became the only stay overall performance that had ever come to city with bands i'd ever heard of. So if your favourite band is coming on your city or close, then your fortunate, thats the only stay overall performance i've got in no way been to.

approach it cautiously, and if all else fails, try to find a different concert to go 2.... I wanted to see afi once, but instead I chose something a little less hard, P!ATD

Lets pretend I'm your mother:
You: Can I go to some stupid concert with some stupid letters, like wxyzx, that don't have a real name?
ME: No, your little 14 year old *** is staying in and playing Boggle with our new Christian neighbors.
You: But I really want to go
Me: to bad, You'll go and be pregnant and high and its VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD and EVIL
I think you better just stay in. It doesn't seem like the above role play went too well for you.

if you go your gonna have so much fun. i went to one for my 14th birtday.

first of all i would do extra chores arounf the house.
be really really nice.
if you have siblings dont fight with them
tell them there arnt really any bad words.
say "would'nt you rather have me go to an afi concert than go to a slipknot concert?"
show them slipknot
show your mom jade. she might like him (hes pretty cute)
that pretty much it! hope you can go

i have nothing against slipknot. they are an awesome band
