I was thinking about becoming a pediatrician but my grades are not so good right now. I am a Junior in High school and in my freshman year i managed a 2.1 GPA and sophomore GPA was a 2.6 and right now At the end of my first semester of Junior year i have a 3.3...

Is it possible for me to go out of country and get accepted into med school and then come back into the US and take the USMLE and get my license in medicine in America?

Or

Is it possible for me to get into a University of California and then persue med school in America?

Well, it probably is highly likely that you would get into a school abroad although it is getting more and more competitive. Med school is so selective that unfortunately I don't think you would get in unless you worked your *** of in college. Your high school career isn't going to matter all that much, but if your efforts will reflect what you will do in college I would say your chances don't look good.

If you get into college and bust *** you may have a shot. Either way make sure your core classes reflect hard work. The hard part isn't passing the exam for Med School but getting in. It's more competitive than law school in my opinion, but think about how many people you are going up against.

Going overseas and coming back is definitely a possibility though. A lot of people get sponsored to do just that.
