People sometimes confuse drama with passion, excitement or a thrilling life style. I don't know if it is because the media portrays it that way - I mean no kiss in the soaps surpass the reunited lovers who have overcome obstacle after obstacle (like Victor and Nikki Newman on Y&R) - or if it is because all the electro magnetics are frying us so that we need high levels of stimulation just to feel like we are alive (as some of the "no tv in the bedroom" proponents would have us believe).

Personally, I think it is simply youth. Young people often don't know what to do and error on the side of selfish which creates a lot of havoc and drama for everyone else. Eventually people settle down and are happy for stable consistency - or they don't get married.

Peace!

I've wondered about that myself. There are entire families committed to the pursuit of drama. My husband belongs to such a family. It's as though peace and quite are unbearable to them. They feed on it and your discomfort. There are some normal people, but we usually don't notice due to the commotion of the drama kings and queens.

drama is what keeps people talking. I think that people that start drama have nothing better to do then ruin other lives with their crap. Hang in there, just dont say anything back to it.It'll make you the better person;)

I know! People like to be the "victim". People like to be pitied and have others feel bad for them and causing drama can give them that.
