Year 12 as in your senior year of high school? Is this long distance relationship an online relationship or have you been together in real life before? Without specific information no-one could give you a specific answer. However, if you know this person from real life meetings and you are moving out of home anyway then why not try it..the worst that could happen is it doesn't work out...but if he is an online love then I would advise against setting up home with a total stranger..people can pretend to be all sorts of things on the net and it could be dangerous to invite him to live with you..better that he get his own place near you for a while first. Talk to your parents, or another respected older person first and see what they think about it.

It might, some people like the idea of seeing someone from a distance, so they can still have their freedom to a point. Once people start getting together and the person is always around, they may resent having that closesness all the time, and people tend to get a little possessive and want to know where your'e going, what time you'll be back and who you are with?

Only you can answer this. You are the only person that would be able to answer this question after 12 years. If you have uncertainty after 12 years then most likely it' s a bad idea to move in together.

we all experience are own trials and tribulations..if you and your spouse been having a long distance relationship for 12 years obviously you guys have great communication with eachother...moving in together can not ruin you relationship....it is up to the both of you guys to continue to carry on a strong relation....plus....if you choose not to move in you will always wonder what would have happened....THINK POSITIVE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE POSITIVE RESULTS....do not think negative of situation or you will receive a negative outcome.......GOOD LUCK

What's the point of going out w/someone for 12 years if you're not going to marry them? you might as well move in and if it does ruin the relationship then it's not ment to be.

It should make it stronger. Why would it ruin it? Either you love him or you dont.
