My wife and I both found each other thru matrimonial site. We exchanged our profiles, matched the horoscopes and then started dating for 2-3 months. She's a SW Engg working as a FT in North West USA. I was working as a Software Consultant on the East Coast. We both traditionally married in Jul'03 in India. My project ended in Sep' 03 and I moved to West coast to stay with her. Fortunately got another consulting assginment in the same company where she works... Both were happy and were enjoying the married life till her parents visted us in May'04. All the differences started as she and her parents literally humilitated me which lead me to move out from the apt where we both happily stayed. I kept visting here despite we were not together. Now in Feb 2006 she finally filed for the divorce. The case is still going...
My question:
** We concurrently filed for our GC as she being Principal
applicant. Her got approved in Mar'05, mine still pending. Steps to make sure my GC not affected?

Sorry honey, maybe she realized she wasn't ready for marriage. People are like that. It's even harder on a person when they are not aware that there is a problem in the relationship. No wonder you are hurt and confused. No reason, no warning. Be more careful next relationship. Might want to find another way to keep that GC if you plan on staying around for a while

Are u both from Inida? or just her? It is sad to hear another story about a India woman stomping on a mans heart again. This is not the first, second, or 3rd story i have heard that has gone in similar ways. I am so glad I am not an indian woman. I dont understand it either and most guys this happens to do not deserve it. With my knowledge of india culture, its cruel and harsh and all people there think of is how is there parents or there family going to think and are they going to be happy not themselves going to be happy. And that is not only on one side too that is on both sides. I have alot of friends from inida and my own future is paused because of there culture. I am sorry she did that to you and hope you can find someone without any strings attached. Maybe one day India will become a little more open on things. Marriage and all should be because of love not because of money and if there family is going to be happier because of a person decision. Honestly I dont think that India or most of those countries over there know what the word Love really means. From my experience anyways and from my research and just knowing the culture for the past 7 - 8 years. Sad stories just like yours have occured alot and its not right. I hope nothing she has done has affected u. I dont know what GC is but however u applied maybe be the best place to start to ask questions and just keep a follow up on it. to me it sounds like he's playinq qames && to be difficulty-free why might want to he wanna come to a call to you if he can qet everythinq without beinq ur guy. it sounds undesirable yet i'm in simple terms thinkinq like a boy for a 2d. examine with him && i visit understand you likinq boys older than you yet at 16, 21 years previous is severe 18 or 19 max yet 21 is intense. he's usinq you for sex && if i have been you i'd leave him on my own cuz in the right you'll qet damage.
