I need to contact the employers/companies to let them know I can provide temporay/permanent placement when they have job openings available.

Get your phone book or internet directory fired up and start calling! Ask for the HR director, and be sure to get their name if you are transferred. Be prepared to follow up with a letter to the director describing your services and prices.
