They don't give any medication to dry up milk anymore. It causes seizures and strokes. So you basically just have to suffer through it. Wear a very tight sports bra or ace wrap. Use ice packs, take tylenol. Some people swear by frozen cabbage leaves (line your bra with them). Just don't do anything to make the milk come out, that will only make the problem last longer.

There's nothing immediate. Just don't breast feed at all and they'll go down in a week or 2.

stop breastfeeding and wrap an ace bandage around your chest at all possible times. also asking your doctor to get you on some birth control pills will dry up the milk
