practice only makes perfect for those doing the practicing

since there is a disconnect between past and present,
what was done once (or a hundred times) in the past
doesn't count
as "practice"
for those living today

errors (in judgement, for example) that are made today
must be considered "new",
because, to us,
they are

we do not have experience with them
we have not tried one way, and are now on to another angle,
we do not have "practice" with that specific situtation.
therefore, we are not perfect
...once again

The ability to:
1. Recognize what is going on,
2. Find the history/books, etc,
3. Be strong enough to NOT repeat history, (Leaders love ruts even if they say they don't - very comfortable in a rut, no hard thinking or accountability, less responsibility for leaders.)
4. The spark that is needed for change, similar to the electrical device explosion - creativity, strength to push the envelope - that type of thing.

Of course these are just musings, I don't - know.
I can't be accountable for misleading you.

We are missing principles, morals and reasons to care. No one can honeslty say why others have repeated or not succeed even though they practiced like crazy. I believe those that do these things or have not succeeded, do it or fail for a reason. Maybe it's one of those things that are meant to happen, and are repeated so that people never forget them and try to push themselves to be better then they are.
