I met Pope John Paul II about ten feet from me in the Popemobile.I'll never forget the moment we looked at each other right in the eyes !
I also met Queen Mother Elizabeth the same way as her limo was coming out of the Blackwatch regiment's location. What a beautiful lady she was !
I met famous actor Henry Fonda as he was coming out of a broadway theater's exit and came face to face with him. Those three instances happened without a word being exchanged but they are unforgettable ! I call it my close encounters. ( smile )

I live in San Francisco, and I'm in Hollywood some. I see celebrities too numerous to list. I've dated several gals who've been in movies. I don't pay much attention to them, for they're only human. A girl at the next table seemed familiar when my lover Bi-Chen and I had lunch at Miyako Hotel just before stage shows began at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japantown. Soon, I said, "There's Tamlyn Tomita!" "Who is she?" "She stars in 'Come See the Paradise' and 'The Killing Jar'." "Aiya, let's get her autograph!" "Let her have her lunch in peace! I'm with a prettier girl than she is." Bi-Chen was ecstatic to hear that. She strongly resembles a movie star, Shao Yin-Yin. I don't lie. I think Bi-Chen is prettier than Tamlyn. If Wang Tsu-Hsien had been at the next table, I would've said, "Your figure is better than hers!"
