I'm a mother of 3 boys.

I tell them before they go in. "Nobody touches you but you, and if anyone does, yell at them...it's okay. If they grab you, then bite them or kick and scream loud...I'll come in and kick his @$$." Never had a problem. Now I just remind them..."Nobody touches you but you"
And I'll even squeak the door open after a minute..."Everything okay?" and if I don't hear something...I ask again...or I go in. I've seen men's ***** beofre...there's nothing in there I haven't seen before.

there was a story in the news a while ago about a little boy who went to the restroom by himself his mom waited outside. some freak killed him while she stood outside. Im not trying to scare you just make a point. there are lots of freaks in this world. if you dont feel comfortable letting your nephew go alone take him to the women's restroom ,a good mother would understand. ive seen it plenty of times. besides if someone doesnt like it let them tell!

No, hes too old for the womens bathroom. Id take him to the door of the mens room and wait outside for him. You shouldnt be in there.

If your nephew is 8 years old, he's old enough to go to the men's room by himself. Wait for him outside.

a boy who is eight yrs old is old enough to go to mens restroom he is old enough. what are you worrying about he is not going to get lost. he is onlygoing to feel uncomfortable with you following him all over the places sooner or later on he has to learn, let him learn. you can watch him everywhere else but not in the bathroom.

most places offer a family restroom,if one is not available, take him to the ladies room and hold the door, that way if he's in there for awhile, you don't have to try and brave the men's room.
