Sadly, Owen Hart was killed during a stunt where he was going to drop into the ring ona wire, and the strap holding him broke, leaving him to drop 50 feet and land onto a turnbuckle breaking his neck. A very sad day in wrestling.

Owen Hart brother of hall of famer Bret "the hitman" Hart Died doing his normal entrance when he is suspended in the air and about 12 feet from the ring he releases himself and falls but once in the ring he was doing the stunt and released himself too early and he fell 78 ft and crushed his chest on the ring post he was dead at the scene but was rushed to the hospital and 6 minutes later he was pronounced dead

Ok that pedigree crap u read was just that..CRAP! The only person who has died in the ring was Owen Hart. Like everyone is saying, he died coming down on a wire performing an entrance.

Owen Hart was killed doing a stunt, the match hadn't actually started. He was being lowered down a zip line, something broke, and he fell 50+feet chest first into one of the ringpost's. Haven't heard of anyone being killed in an actual match, but many have been injured.

Yea, HHH killed someone doing a pedigree. I can't remember his name though. The WCW tag team The Rock and Roll Express killed someone in a practice match back in the late 80's.

It was during his ring enterence but i bet you didnt know that it happened in Kansas Cities Kemper Arena (that's what I read on www.wrestleview.com I think thats the site.
