Don't live in Florida do you? I live in the Hurricane Bulls-eye; I got over that real young in life. Granted loud, sudden claps of thunder startle me and I constantly worry during bad storms that the wind might blow a tree down onto the house, but I try not to dwell on it. Never come here in the summer and don't go through a hurricane, you'll probably have a heart attack.

I get freaked out when it starts lightening. I can't stand it. The thunder is ok as long as I don't have a headach and the rain is also nice, but the lightening drives me insane especially when I am trying to sleep. I can't stand light in my eyes so it is real bad at night.

yes. I do. I don't usually admit it, but since you were brave enough to, it's the least I can do. I get very freaked by bad thunder and lightening storms and think I'll have a heart attack if I am ever in or near a tornado.

We get hurricanes where I live sometimes, so I have lots of opporturnities to be scared.

nope. in 1998 in michigan we had a durecko (sp). the winds had reached up to 160 mph. or 130 mph i can't remember. you can look it up on the internet. in 1979 we had a major blizzard. the city of grand rapids had closed down. you can type in photos of the great blizzard of 1979 in michigan. in 1997 we had a major ice storm and the trees was not frozen. hundreds of trees fell down knocking over power lines and houses etc. we have had tornado's. just take cover in case of a storm and stay safe.

the wiznit: where in michigan do you live to have mild weather.

Not really. If it's a bad storm, then yah. But other than that, I love the rain and wind! Weather like that relaxes me. :)

I love watching it but I get a little freaked out if I'm out driving and a bad storm comes up that makes it hard to see.

No. I like the extremes. 100 degrees. -10 degrees. Severe storms, rain and snow.

I love both. Especially when I am in my own home, looking out the window and seeing the rain, wind or both. I feel secure that I will be O.K. no matter what.
