I don't know why he's hated, but they way he carries himself isn't what the majority of the world see as "normal"...

Claims of Satanism, being the Anti-Christ, speaking out against Christianity, downing political figures - basically doing anything he can to get attention.
The good part is, when you're in a band and trying to sell albums, no publicity is bad publicity.

Because he's an idiot, and also because he wants it that way. If he didn't want to be hated, he wouldn't do the things he does. It's all to get publicity, and he doesn't care if it's good, or bad.

Some people just "don't get him." If they'd stop being so afraid of him and actually listen to his music, then maybe they would like him and his music.
