Acne is a combination of genetics, age (hormones, puberty, etc.) and what you put into your body (food, drinks, ect.) I don't think you can totally prevent acne, but you can probably help it by keeping your face clean, not eating too much caffiene or sugar and getting plenty of sleep and the biggie - drink a lot of water!! :) and don't worry about it - you are young & it will clear up and you'll be beautiful! :)

I don't know if anyones said this or not 'cause I haven't read the other answers but.... ASPIRIN!!! Get a couple of non-coated generic aspirin (I mean real aspirin no other kind of pain reliever will work) then add a few drops of water and a drop of honey. after a few seconds the water will dissolve the aspirin, mix it, and apply it to the zit...or your whole face, its quite good for acne proned skin. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes and rinse scrubbing slightly. You should notice that redness and swelling has gone down, and if you do it twice a week then it can help keep acne in general at bay. Also if you are willing to pay, you should look at getting a BHA facial peel from a salon, though I recommend getting a low percent one because they have no downtime but your skin looks amazing by the next day!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Hi! My sister and I had bad ache around your age to. She had it worse than me because she constantly touched her face.We tryed heaps of things like putting toothpaste on them when we could feel them coming or even to the extent of dabbing metho on our faces which i don't recommend you do cause boy we then went thru stages of having pimples with extremly dry faces! Then my sister ended going to a specialest and getting a layer of skin peeled from her face and she went into deep depression after that.Cause it took a while to do like i'm talking weeks. So we ended up going to the doctors and asking him for some medication for our ache and that was the best thing we did about it. Took one tablet a day and they disappeared after a few days. Hope tht helps.
