Otherwise, you have to be an awesome singer, actor, dancer, or know the right people. Hopefully you don't go the other route and become a serial killer or something...

If you want to become a famous actor, i think most start out by doing commercials, the more talent and attractive you are, the quicker you will get recognized. If your talking about being famous in a positive way, you just have to be really unique at something. If you sing, you have to find people in the business and let them hear your music, or travel and play anywhere, or post it online or something. It could take years or days to become famous.

First figure out what you are good at and enjoy doing.
Then figure out how you can make the world a beter place by contributing to society.
Then let your passion drive your imagination and achieve your dreams.
Sadly, 99% of the world including me is stuck at the first line.
I wish I could tell you with certaintly that i know what it takes, but if I did, I would already be famous!

You can be famous in your heart first, then in your mind, and be yourself sharing the wonderful talents you possess without being pushy, be genuine and gentle to yourself and work hard at whatever you want to achieve. Be prepared to meet obstacles and deal with jealousy, envy and greed. Then people around you will spread the word about your talents and your fame will grow. And then you will have to deal with paparazzis chasing you everywhere. Is this what you really want ? Fame is not always a bed of roses dear Heart !

Enroll in a serious school for acting at the University.Study art,theather,acting,drama and everything relatet to or with acting, also find and agent to coach you through the process.

well u have to get an agent, once u get an agent try out for modeling jobs and commercials. it also depends if u want to a b an actress, or a sing or whatev!
if u want to b a singer:
get vocal lessons and also try out for musicals
if u want to b and actress:
get an agent and try out for commercials and also do theater
