He's a true Mancunian, that's somebody from Manchester UK, Which incidentally is in England which is also part of the United Kingdom. Geography is not your strong point is it?

He's from Stoke, England, United Kingdom of Great Britain, Europe, Earth, Milky Way, The Universe.

His passport will say British, but like most of us (from England) we think of ourselves as English.

he comes from stoke, so he was born in england, i too was born in england, and say im english but on forms application forms etc its not an option so i have to tick british. IM still proud to be english/british and im sure robbie is too lol.

they are the same thing. your british if you come from england. robbie is from england which makes him british.

Oh i've just seen Two tone has answered this one too. "Our Robbie "did you say, did you not claim to be welsh and not like english people earlier? hippocrite . Anyway Robbie is not a Manc, he's from stoke like I said you numpty!

He's both. He's from England which is part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain (England, Scotland & Wales) & Northern Ireland

Thanks for the inspiration for my next question on here. I'm just wondering how many Americans (assuming you are a yank?) Actually think Britain and England are separate countries.
Anyway 'our' Robbie is from Manchester I think, he was in a boy band, as you may know, prior to going solo, and they all came from Manchester UK, or thereabouts.
