Limewire is not illegal it is however illegal to download copyrighted material like songs and movies from Limewire.

No, it's a civil offense unless you sell the works (for instance pirate movies and then sell them). Also you could get arrested for putting the the works up to be downloaded. If copyright theft was punishable by arrest, Bill Gates would have been in jail more than once.

i dont think you can. im almsot positive its the actually burning of the cd that is illegal, but i woudn't know forsure. however there are millions of people who download music just another person isnt going to do anything. You;ll be find just go for it . Have fun :)

no, limewire is a legitimate website for music, i got all my downloading of songs from there....they let you download for free...but always asking when are you going to upgrade to pro...(paying members already) just click later when they ask you......and you can download loads of songs...

Filesharing is illegal only when illegal stuff is being shared, but thats very hard to do because there so much good stuff that can be shared, lol. so technically firle sharing is illegal

I think California passed it that you can get arrested in that state.
The rest of the states I think you can get sued by that group RAA or something like that.
