Whichever one gives you the best deal. Service is equal. Direct has TIVO and Dish has DVR that does the same thing. I picked Dish, since Direct did not offer local channels in my area.

Direct tv because if you get Tivo, your whole lifestyle changes... I LOVE IT!!! not to mention that i used to have dish and it was too slow.

direct tv is great, but i would get like comcast if you dont want interuptions during storms.
