I really don't know - once I got past the lesbian scene and Billy Ray Cyruss, it all went downhill.

I used to think of even director David Lynch did no longer understand the plot, yet I observed an interview with him a pair of years in the past, and changed my concepts. i would be unable to recollect now the specifics, yet he does supply diffused clues as to what's occurring. The Naomi Watts character is in certainty nuts, or is going nuts, and a lot of of the movie is her flashing back no longer on what occurred, yet what she needed to have occurred to her. The interview secure clips of a few moments in the movie, like in the diner (daylight hours) that subtly confirmed the time displacement. So the certainty of who she grew to alter into, and the dream of what she would have been (while she replace into youthful) exist concurrently. Time, as they say, is out of joint. Sorry i'm not extra particular propose you google the movie and notice if his rationalization is online someplace.

Why would they name a movie "Mulholland Drive" when there was a movie named "Mulholland Falls"? Surely the must have known that people would confuse the 2 films.
