I think it is because (PLEASE don't take this wrong) but they aren't marketing towards anyone but white women as far as their women's clothes. It isn't a thing where they don't want other races to shop there, but they seem to be marketing towards a certain group. Flat butt and uncurvy body is the normal white woman's body. That is why their clothes are cut that way. I know this doesn't help you that much, but you should go on their website and tell them about this. There is a link to contact them on their website. Its a shame that they don't cut their clothes where everyone can wear them.

NOBODY makes clothes for a black woman's body type. Don't even get me started on Express or the Gap. Black women are built "front-to-back", like an "S". We don't get wide hips and thick waists and back-fat when we put on weight; we get boobies and butts. I am in my 30's and am built like a little boy. I have very narrow (nonexistant) hips, a very small waist, and I wear a 32D bra. The only reason that I have any curve to me at all is that I have BWA (black woman's @ss). I wear a size 2 and I STILL have to have everything taken in at the waist and across the back. I don't even want to think about trying to find jeans that fit! These designers need to wise up. Ms. Noonie's right; Nelly trippin' on those Apple Bottom prices.

I totally agree, but I am a white girl. I have alot of bootie and can't find anything there in the pants department because my hips and butt are so big. My waist is about 2 sizes different from my hips, plus my thighs are big because of athletics in high school and gymnastics when I was younger. Old Navy needs to make clothes for curvy women...Agreed!

100 pound models or Paris Hilton couldn't find clothes there...Old Navy caters to fat white chicks.
I don't know why, but they make clothes for people who are shaped like tubes. That would be the majority of white girls who tend to put on weight around the middle and have a fat roll the size of their boobs & hips around their stomachs. I'm a white girl who has a waist and I have a lot of the same problems with their clothes. They just don't make clothes for a true curvy woman's body type...at least, those of us who don't use "curvy" as a euphemism for "chubby.!"

Does anyone make clothes for women other than 100 pound models. Don't worry it is not only you it is every woman that does not look like Paris Hilton.
The sad thing is I have a 8 year old that I can not even find good clothes for .

I'm white, but I have similar problems with the clothes at Old Navy, as do many of my friends. I think it's more widespread than you think.

I can wear old navy and I have a little booty (not flat but not big). They never have the right length for my legs though, short are like high waters and regular are too long.

I really like the "Old Navy" style, but their jean cuts do suck. I get a lot of tops at Old Navy and jeans at other stores.

I think that its because us white girls don't have big butts, or fuller butts like you girls.. Its basically for white women I think. I really don't know of any places where they make the butts bigger in pants, unless you shop Chic brands.. Sorry! :(
