All they need to do is to keep winning.

Must be incredibly hard to be 5-0 when you're playing teams with a combined record of 8-19. When your second toughest game of the year is Rutgers you know there is something wrong with your schedule.

How about you play some of the teams Ohio State, Michigan, LSU, Auburn, Florida are playing.... then we'll see just how good your team is. Until then quit bitching you don't get enough credit for beating the likes of:
1-4 Marshall
1-5 Eastern Washington
3-2 Maryland
2-3 East Carolina
1-5 Mississippi State

WIth remaining on your schedule
3-3 Syracuse
2-3 Connecticut
5-0 Louisville (Hey a real team how bout that!)
3-3 Cincinnati
5-1 Pittsburgh (another overrated team, no wins against teams with winning records)
4-2 South Florida (wins against McNeese State and Florida International, enough said)
5-0 Rutgers (second best team on your schedule, still barely squeaked by South Florida)

When you play a schedule like that how can you not realize and understand why your team gets no respect. You have to earn respect, and you don't earn respect by playing a record like yours. Play in the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, hell even the PAC 10 and you'd finish in the bottom half of the league.

First off, I'm a huge West Virginia fan. I think #4 is a fair rank considering the mountaineers schedule. Even though they've beat the pants off of all their opponents, the most difficult team they've come up against is Maryland (which doesn't say a whole lot). Overall, the big east is just a weak conference. A national title would be nice, though.

I wonder what would happen if they played real competition , I hope they stay in the top five because come Bowl Time when the have to play a good team they are going to get embarrassed , why do you think they have not been moved up any higher ??????? If they played stronger competition they would be at least #2 or #3 but they are unproven .

Are you on crack? Underrated? This team has played NO ONE WORTH A D***! This is why their EXTREMELY FORTUNATE to be ranked as high as they are! They're ranked that way simply because they're undefeted. Once Louisville, Pitt, or Rutgers smacks that A**, they'll not only fall, they'll PLUMMET to the abyss they belong in! Write more smack when you beat someone FOR REAL, and I'll be inclined to listen.

they play in a weak conference and rely too much on 1 player to be considered #2.

If anything, they're overrated. I hope Louisville ruins your shot at a national championship. That would make my year.
