Have you seen lost? If you have do you remember the episode where the profesor got splatered all over the place. Unless you got some kind of death wish call your local police department the second you read this. Don't pass go, Don't collect $200, go strait to the police. If it is near anyone elses home or your own after calling the police call them and let them know or evacuate. Life is not a game don't risk lossing everything. If some one is hurt or killed because of your inaction then you will be prosecuted. This is comming from a Military Police Officer.

My former father-in-law had some unexploded live grenades in his house left over from the Vietnam era. We called the local Army National Guard post. They came in, removed the explosives from the house, and destroyed them free of charge.

I don't know how you came about having this but the safest way to do it would be to contact the authorities and explain your situation...
your fire dept. or police station must have personell trained to handle and dispose of such things....being the T.N.T. is very old it is probably very unstable...I wouldn't recommend you disposing of it yourself.

The safest method is to call the police bomb squad. Let them handle that matter.
