I have sore breasts, am nauseus, smells get to me too. When I was pregnant with my son the same thing happened. Home test said no, but the blood said yes. I am never this late, am on no meds and am not an athletic. Could the tests have been wrong or is this wishful thinking?

I have sore breasts, am nauseus, & smells get to me too. When I was pregnant with my son the home test said no but then the blood said yes (this was what happened when I had my son 17 months ago). I am never this late, am on no meds and am not athletic. Could the tests have been wrong or is this wishful thinking?

You absolutely can be pregnant. The same thing happened to me. I had multiple negative home tests and also negative blood test but I was sure I was pregnant. We just waited a few more weeks and took another test and it finally came back positive. They used an early ultrasound to date the pregnancy, and they changed my due date several times, but I was pregnant. I was told than some pregnancies emit a low level of hormone initially that is difficult to detect on home tests. That does not explain the blood work, which is supposed to be very accurate. the other possibility is that you may ovulate at an off time and got pregnant so close to your cycle that the pregnancy may be in such an early stage that it still can not be detected. Just keep doing what you are doing and treat your body like it may be pregnant. Best wishes!

You need to edit your question.. 2 home preg tests and one blood test say no..but then you say the blood says yes.

Blood is the most accurate test. Yes urines can read false especially if they aren' the newest generation.

If the blood i truely negative and the home tests are negative than you may be experiencing phantom pregnancy or psedo pregnancy. This is not uncommon among women. If the Blood is positive and the home tests are negative..stick with the blood. Its a much more sensative test

Sorry, nope. Blood tests are very accurate. It seems a lot of us are running late this time of the year. I was 6 weeks behind, but am paying for it now, BIG TIME. Good luck and keep trying. When the time is right it'll happen. God Bless.

You said your blood test was positive? Blood tests are more accurate than home pregnancy tests. More than likely, you are pregnant. I would have a chat with your doctor.

yes you could have a ecotopical pregnancy. that is when the egg sits on the pelvic area instead of in your fallopian tubes, if this is the case then your pregnancy will have to be ended. It could also be if you are over weight, or under weight.
