How is psychological addiction like porn addiction different from drug/alcohol addiction? What steps are needed to be taken to overcome such a psychological addiction?

I can tell you this about me. I was addicted to Pepsi, not on the caffeine or taste, just that I had drank it for 20 years. I just got mad one day and quite. after 4 weeks i tried one, and didn't like it. So I would say you have to want it first.

We have all been blessed with a free will. We all get to make choices every moment of every day. Some of us chose to do good things and not waste valuable time on poor choices and the consequences they may carry. Others choose to waste their lives on poor choices that cause anguish inside themselves. You get to chose every second whether to pick up porn or not. You can chose not to as easily as you can chose to look at it. the same is true with drugs or alcohol, you choose to stick that needle in your arm or pop that next beer can, or you can chose not to.

see a theory field therapist, this therapy will prevail very quickly dont devour yeast bread or drink beer, yet take olive leaf extract take st johns wort, evening primrose oil with fish oil devour organic and organic honey each and on a daily basis that's much extra useful with bee pollen

It is like any other addiction just your choice of "drug" is different. Seek therapy.
