does getting ur tongue peirced hurt a lot?and if so can u give me a specific example so i know...and what should i say 2 convince my dad 2 let me get it done?

It dosent hurt much to get your tongue peirced , the swelling afterwards is what hurts because it last for about a week . I have had mine done for about 10 years and I love it but I have broken three teeth from it and that hutrs like a ***** and is not cheep yo fix...

The way i hear it, the ppl stick a wood plank under ur tounge and they punch a hole in it. it sounds like it hurts 4 my opinion, but u might be tougher and braver than me.
if u want 2 convince ur dad try 2 talk about the topic wenever necciserie. if ur lucky he will give in. GOOOD LUCK!

Its like biting your tongue but a lot worse. Your tongue will swell up. The balls probably damage your teeth and dental work. And it says to the world that you perform oral sex. Are you sure you want to get it done?

good luck i don't know how people can eat, i went to get it done and within 3 days that was out, i couldn't eat, the earing would go over to the side and i would bite it, also at night i would probaly bite it as well and as a dental asisstant i knew better, bcus u can damage your teeth by breaking and hurting them, but i just wanted to get it done but it was not nice at all. i felt such a relieve when i took it out, i just could not take it my tounge was all swollen and couldn't even speak, good luck =) i didn't like it at all

well people have alot of opions of how it looks or what not. if you have your cartilige or nose done its around there. on the case of your dad its harer to convince parents because its a big step for them. just do not do it your self that could be very dangerous and go to a perfessional if you feel uncomfortable in the office go to a different place.

it doesnt hurt bad, just for a second...but you should never get one. i had one for lke a day in high school and im 22 now and cant believe how embarrassing i was. they are seriously soooo trashy looking. they are also very outdated...very 90s.

Please don't do it. It tells boys that you are extremelly sexually daring, it is unsanitary and highly infectable area. Pirce your nose instead. The tongue is just a BAD thing.

My stepdaughter got it done, without our approval, and she said it hurt really really bad. She did this after she moved out. I have one word for it....NASTY

dont do it it really hurts......
and you have to take extra care so that it wont get infected....
once you pierce you cant eat for a couple of days
you are only allowed to drink liquid....
