what temperture should you wear felt cowboy hat im in texas so it keeps changing

Well my hubby told me to tell you,(a cowboy) that usually in October is when most men used to start wearing felt hats. Although now a days guys wear them all year round. So to you its your choice.!!

My hubby is a cowboy, too. He wears his straw hat until the weather stays cold (here in Kansas around the middle of Oct.), then he then wears his felt. However, he wears his good felt year round when he dresses up (like when the occasion calls for starched jeans and shirt and good belt and boots).

Not sure at what temp. you should wear it, but I would let it get a little bit cooler....I`m in Ar. I know what your talking about the weather keeps changing...My husband is not wearing his felt hat yet....

when your head is cold in a straw hat, use the felt one.
