Why does Travis McCoy of the band Gym Class Heroes brush his teeth in every one of their videos?

It is a kind of advertising known as 'product placement'. Remember when you always used to see people in movies or on tv smoking cigarettes and drinking coke and you could usually see the brand names, well, they are now doing that with all sorts of stuff, including toothpaste, these guys, and the studios, make extra money that way.
