okay so i have this friend and i've known for almost a year but we are the type of friends where it feels like we have known each other longer then that, so i was just wondering what to get her for her birthday ( like four months ago she said she liked sailor moon and wanted a sailor moon pencil box but she hasn't really mentioned anything about it since) ( we are both 21) do you think she would like this or is it too kidish and if so what should i get her

I actually think it would be thoughtful of you to get her that pencil box. Who cares if you are 21! I think she would be really surprised and impressed that you would remember back that far and go out of your way to look for it. If she thinks it's corny...don't sweat it- corny gifts can be so much fun! Besides, then you can rub it in her face that that's what she asked for, so that's what she got! Best of luck!

I think that's a great gift. She's your friend so you want to give her something to make her laugh on her birthday. I suggest that you take it a step further. Fill the pencil box with her favorite candy, gum, a gift card (ie.to her favorite store, a manicure, pedicure or massage). I don't think it's childish at all. This will show her that you put both time and effort into selecting and creating a gift for her. Good Luck, I hope this helps......

a sailor moon pencil box??? 21 YEARS OLD?? ok, first of all, if you get her a sailor moon pencil box, your pencil will never go in her box. my sister likes sailor moon, and she got these cool little mini-statues online somewhere from japan. yea, get her some japanese impotred stuff. she would like that, and at 21, i think a girl would like a guy to cook for her. cook her something simple, and delicious. it's always bonus points if you can do something for her that can't be bought.

I think that would be a sweet gift to get her. It shows you remembered something she pointed out. And sometimes, ok...a lot of the time, when a woman points out something she likes she's hoping her friends, or boyfriend are putting it into their memories for when special occasions occur. Make her a MP3 mix of some songs you both like, get her the pencil and take her out for a meal.

sounds good to me* haha...if she siad she wanted it then she probably still does* and believe me...you dont have to be a kid to like sailor moon* haha...If you were to watch the original sailor moon shows from japan ...you wouldnt think that they are kidish....they are pretty nasty actually* hahha : ) since she hasnt mentioned it again you should try and figure out whether or not she already got one....if she hasnt then i would get it...she will love it and she will think it is awesome that you actually remebered her saying that from 4 months earlier* Good luck*

just ask her what she wants... and if she tells you not to get her anything get her the pencil box ... if she said she wanted it it's not too kiddish. and even if she didn't want it anymore it would show that you pay attention to what she says and that would be a good enough gift. and if you feel liike that isn't a good gift nothing ever fails when you buy gift cards!

Always a cool gift is something that she may have mentioned just in passing that she wished she had. Maybe something to remind her of her childhood like an old toy, etc. Or, you could always make her something. That's always a great gift.

u know what..the childish thing sometimes will make her appreciate u more~ maybe u can buy her a pencil box of sailormoon..then u put a wrist watch inside there..or a necklace~ or bracellet..u know..jewellery always be the gurls best friends!~~~

i cannot believe you are 21. sailor moon!? my kid is 9 & has been over sailor moon for 3 yrs. maybe you should buy her a teething ring?
