I have an ibanez gio guitar and when i plug it in to the amp it makes a noise (humbing and buzzing) specially with a high gain and it gets worst when i use an amp simulator with distortion. When the volume knob is in the middle sounds worst. I don't know what is wrong what should i change? the pick ups? the knobs? ...? ...? ... ?
please help!...
thanks

most likely a broken ground wire. take it apart, most are simple. look for loose connections and cold solder joints. it will help to have it plugged in while open to see if you get the feedback to stop while tapping the different parts of the circuit, oh and don't worry you won't get zapped...low voltage.

in case you bypass to any respected song save and purchase strings from them they'll likely show you advice on a thank you to alter them for your self. It purely takes a couple of minutes to alter a string and that they probably does not cost you just to alter that one string and show you advice on a thank you to do it so which you will replace the others on your person. an honest set of strings expenditures approximately $7 (D'Addario or Ernie Ball make good electric guitar strings). you should in simple terms replace all of them in the previous you bypass to take classes and get a series with an added e string (this is the thinnest one you broke). frequently it is extra low priced to purchase strings in bulk (like 3 contraptions for $18 or something), then you definately've extras in case you wreck extra or they positioned on out after some months.

sound like a bad ground connection in the guitar. open it up and look for loose wires. if you don't see a loose wire, wiggle the wire a little to see if any joints are loose.
