I feel bad that those poor poor fish have to live in there!

I feel like I should help. Does anyone know where you can get a couple of saltwater catfish? If so, what do they cost?

Maybe visit a pet shop and ask if they have any inexpensive suggestions for removing algae from an aquarium.

With freshwater tanks, there are certain fish that feed on the algae, but not sure which (if any) would work for a salt water tank.

Perhaps there are algae tabs or an algae scraper that would work. You might even get a pet store to provide a solution at no cost in exchange for a little free advertising on the aquarium itself, for example, a small sign near the bottom of the tank which reads:

"This tank is maintained by Buffy's Fish Shop, visit them at...."

or

"Algae Eating fish provided by Fish By Jim...."

Is algae on all sides of tank? Algae is okay in saltwater tank and I usually clean only front and sides of my tank. You can tell someone at the school that a magnetic cleaner is easy to use and is cheap at Wal-mart.

Tell a teacher or some one at your shool about it so they can call some one to come clean the tank. But I don't know of a saltwater catfish, but if there is the North Dallas Aquarium can help you there.

Good Luck!!!

Here is a much easier route:

Complain to the people in the front office! Let them know how disgusting it looks!

Best of luck!
