Especially that commercial with "Bob". I mean seriously, are there THAT many men out there who are just all of the sudden having problems, er.., performing? And why do the rest of us need to know about it?

Yeah! Me too, and all of the sudden Bob was thrilled to cut the grass, and do other daily activities that are not that exciting! I don't care how much *** that Bob is getting now, he won't be that thrilled, while doing yard work! But on another note, I would rather hear about Bob, than to see Bob Dole on the Viagra commercial again! And Viagra sponsors a race car, how would you like to be a man, and the driver of that car?!

Bob is over the top, but age gives one perspective. The serious ones which name causes such as diabetes and high blood pressure are different (antidepressives can cause it too). The thing is to get the information out there so men know there might be a cause they haven't considered and there is help. And, damn it, it's ok to get help!

I completely second that!!! We were actually just sitting here talking about that. I guess it's finally OK to talk about things like that now so every one decided to let the world know I guess. Sucks for us but could in the long run help some one out.

Well...wait till you hit 40 or 50...there are an amazing amount of men who have this problem. It doesn't help that they are overweight & have high blood pressure & other ailments...
Try to keep your man healthy now...

I was about to give my unique perspective as a man, but after reading "if it swells, ride it" I will just say, "Ditto!" (A little Rush Limbaugh-Viagra lingo there.)

Those ads "creep me out" no more or less than diarrhea or PMS ads. I stick to PBS as much as possible to miss all of them.

I am. I am tired of them. Some Insurance companies even pay for the medication, but they don't pay for medications for anxiety. You are right. Why do the rest of us need to know about it.

i'd like to see a man who keeps it up for four hours after taking viagra. they say to go to the ER if that happens. hell.....he should find a woman who can handle that problem. i'd be up to it if my man took it and that happened. after all, my motto is IF IT SWELLS RIDE IT.
