You are asking a question that has no answer.

The best phone FOR YOU depends on your needs. Do you need text mesaging, free incoming calls, internet access? Do you need a wireless (bluetooth) earpiece, Walkie-talkie, a camera, or roll-over minutes?

Many of my cusotmers are satisfied with some pretty bare-bones equipment, because all they need is a phonje for use in an emergency. Others use Blackeberry devices or Treo and use the phone as a portable computer complete with Windows OS.

Sprint and Nextelhave low deposits and lots of features, but any of the top three carriers can get most people started in a suitable plan. I'd avoid the smaller players like (** ********) and other regional players. They're more likely to get bought out by a competitor and you'll never figure out all the changes they will pull...
