I thought English and Psychology were the 2 that were least pratical. But as it turns out, the first 4 years in college doesnt really mean anything... (In term of preparing you for the real life I meant) I think you have to have at least a Master in order to really know what you're doing. It's just those 4 years will shape who you are; so just pick whatever interests you the most and go from there...
Don't get me wrong, I'm in my 2nd year of college myself. I love college life. It's fun and exciting! :-) My 1st year in college, I was an English major, that didnt work out so I'm going for Communication now. I LOVE IT!
What I'm trying to convey is that just go with where your passion, nobody wnats to do a job where they have to sit there and get bored og it. And plus, noway, people have at least 4-5 different jobs in their carrer path anyway! :-)
Take care and good luck.

it probably depends a lot on your skillset. A music major isn't helpful if you're deaf, and a dance major won't help much if you're extremely overweight. A lot of colleges have very specific major programs that might *sound* useless, but if you want to go into meteorology you probably want a degree in it. (Of course, if you get the degree, you can't do much else . . .)
