So many people use/buy herbs. The FDA does not evaluate their nutritional and medical values. Why the hell not?

Because drugs are BIGGGGGG business! If the FDA approved them, they would lose the business for their drugs that have been on the market and are being tested for market. Many of those on the FDA board are also DR.'s who also deepely vested in drugs and stand to lose millions if people switch to herbs, or alternative therapies.

The last thing in the world we want id the FDA regulating vitamins. They will attempt to require a prescription for them. I hate to sound like a liberal but I believe the pharmaceutical industry is behind the move to have the FDA regulate herbs and vitamins, cuts into their profits. Nothing wrong with profits but you should not be allowed to kill your competition in that manner.
