I've been to Wyoming twice.
Since it doesn't snow in NYC much anymore, I went to Wyoming for the snow. We spent 7 days in and around Yellowstone National Park. It's truly an amazing park. Luckily as a young nation, we can preserve our natural wonders. We saw wolves, coyotes (hunting), eagles, mountain lion, mountain goats, etc. And many majestic bisons/buffalos (which were extremely STRESSED by snowmobiles...really heartbreaking...some people just don't care about the noise/pollution of snowmobiles.) Very easy to spot animals against the snowy background. Mammoth Lodge is AWESOME. The geysers. Snowshoeing. Extremely cold in winter!
Then I went again a couple of years later...in summer to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Hiking, fishing, etc. We saw bisons, moose, eagles, but it's definitely much more challenging to spot animals due to the heavy foliage. We almost met a bear on a trail during a hike. Other hikers warned us to be careful.
Wyoming is beautiful, and I'd go again in a heartbeat.

Yep, Been there once, From Idaho Falls to Jackson Hole to the Grand Teaton NP and Yellostone NP, exiting through Montana.

Everywhere I went was a feast for the eyes, and yet another unforgettable memory.

One of the Prettiest places I've ever seen, and I have been around the world.

Yes, I have lived here my whole life. It is very nice, if you like winter, and cold, and the wind. Lots of wind. It snowed for the first time where I live this year in September. Can you believe that?

Yep, I went to Jackson Hole for a few days, and went to Yellowstone. It was pretty flat, but the horizon and the sky were really lovely, and one day we got to see a heard of 1500 buffalo cross our path.

Yep, beautiful state. Not cluttered with people and a lot of wide open spaces. Even the towns are wide open.
