Do people in countries other than the US get into Halloween the way people in the US do?

I mean decorating the houses, wearing costumes, and kids going door-to-door trick-or-treating? Please state your country and what, if anything, you do in your answer.

I could say no because people in the US are Evil. But I won't.

I'm just kidding, I read something from an American earlier talking about how superior Americans are to Canadians so I was just being sarcastic.

I'm from Canada and yes we do decorate and have fun with halloween too. ON our street, we all go out on the street and socialize with our neighbours while we are treating the kids.

When I was a kid, I hated Halloween because the kids I went out with were too greedy and it always rained or snowed and they wanted to go too far. Plus the very first time I can remember going out some teenagers asked to see what was in my bag and then grabbed it and ran. Anyway, now it is one of my favorite holidays.

And by the way I love The United States just as much as Canada.

Of course! Canada does! We do all of the same things....costumes, decorations, trick or treating, bar crawls, etc.

Halloween is an anglo thing originating in ireland -- different countries have similar holidays but do things differently -- like in mexico they have days of the dead but its actually a pilgimage to their dead relatives.

in portugal the kids go trick or treatting on all saints day and they dress up for teh carnival

not here.... we celebrate halloween by visiting the graves of our loved ones, bring flowers, etc.
